About Us

Haus of Moale is a creative company led by storyteller and Creative Producer Moale James-Proud.

Our work is grounded in models of sustainability, slow art making and community co-creation.

We strive to create spaces for people to come together in ways that are intentional, relationship-led, and deeply held.

We are a collective of carefully curated practitioners invested in socially engaged practice, cultural strategy, and creative leadership.

We move beyond fast outcomes and surface consultation, focusing instead on processes that prioritise listening, cultural safety, and long-term connection. Alongside our creative work, we design engagement frameworks and learning environments that support organisations and communities to work more thoughtfully, responsibly, and in relationship.

Haus of Moale exists to carry stories with care — creating spaces where knowledge is shared, community is strengthened, and creative practice becomes a form of collective learning.

Together, the name reflects a joyful creative home: a place where stories are held with care, guided by cultural responsibility, and shared in community.

We create culturally grounded work that gathers people in the spirit of irutahuna a shared space fostering - good and gentle spirit and socially engaged community practice.

Every project shaped within Haus of Moale carries this philosophy — that creation is communal, storytelling holds responsibility, and art can be an act of care.

Haus of Moale Acknowledges the First People's
In the spirit of our values as a team that live, work, create and play on this land we wish to acknowledge and pay our respects to the First People's of this Country - their elders and ancestors whose spirit, stories and histories are embedded in the land, air and waterways. These lands have always been places of creating, learning, story telling and sharing. As a team we bring our own stories and collaborate with community and creatives to share stories, learn and create and we do these things in good spirit
